Jordan Brand is breaking out Jordan 6 GS in Summer 2015

We have been previewing the upcoming Girls Jordans 11 Low “Georgetown” for the last few weeks, and now we have a few more images of this special colorway. This edition of the Air Jordan 11 comes outfitted in Grey Mist, White and Navy and is finished off with a translucent sole. The Air Jordan Low “Georgetown” is paying homage to the classic match ups between North Carolina and Georgetown, which is where Michael Jordan hit his famous shot against the Georgetown Hoyas in 1982.
This summer, Jordan Brand is breaking out the Jordan 6 GS bred in PE form straight from Mike’s 1996 Championship Parade. While that colorway will probably garner the most attention, these Georgetown 11 Lows are another enticing offering for the hottest of months. The Jordan 6 GS Low takes the Hoyas color scheme to task by outfitting the cordura mesh upper with a Grey Mist while the signature patent leather gets hit with a Midnight Navy to perfectly coincide with an icy outsole. It’s a pair that a college-aged Allen Iverson would be more than happy to wear on-court. No word yet on a release date for this pair, but you can expect them to arrive sometime this summer.
It is no secret that the 'Stealth' Air Jordan 20 is set for a comeback. But did you know that Jordan Brand is altering its look?Originally released in 2005, this original colorway of the Jordan XX is considered the best of the series, and one of the most liked over the past decade. It's sleek black upper with subtle red and black accents made them an instant classic. But when they return in March, peoples' perspective might change a bit.The re-release has been spotted with a new look. Gone is the all black laser printed midfoot strap. This time around, the print is accented in gold, making it pop a lot more, and less subtle than its predecessor. Another GS Jordans 2015 alteration is the nubuck/patent leather combination on the upper, instead it will now be made up of leather and patent leather.

Remastered series of new jordans continue to release

Macklemore is always getting exclusive sneakers especially with the New Jordans 2015 Air 6. Earlier today he posted a picture of himself wearing a pair of Air Jordan 6s, but not your regular pair but what looks to be a lifestyle model. With this image, two things are possible: 1. Jordan Brand could be releasing a lifestyle Jordan 6 which looks to be more of a Air Jordan 1 '91 model or 2. Macklemore has yet another exclusive pair we won't be able to get our hands on.The lifestyle Jordan 6 model which real name is unknown for now uses a green and black upper and it looks like elephant print is sprinkled throughout. Infrared laces and a white midsole makes them complete.
The Remastered series of Jordan Retros continue to release, so are newer colorways that Jordan Brand have never released. One of their latest silhouettes dropping soon is the Jordans 2015 Jordan 7 nicknamed 'Marvin the Martian'. This colorway mixes a multicolored tongue on the 7 silhouette, with a black leather and nubuck combo on the upper. The solar red Jumpman logo located on the ankle of the shoe also accents the blue, grey, and solar red hues located midsole and matches the patterned design on the tongue.
After taking a look at the Nike Air Foamposite “Blue Aquamarine,” we now have a look at an Air Jordan 5 sporting a similar color scheme. The Air Jordan 5 “Midnight Navy” is the newest addition to Jordan Brand, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Celebrating JB’s 30th anniversary, this Air Jordan 5 is sure to grab the attention of many sneakerheads once they release. The New Jordans Jordan 5 “Midnight Navy” is predominantly decorated in a Midnight Navy leather design. As a little touch of flair, the sneaker is hit with Turquoise accenting throughout he entire appearance. Complete with a finishing detail of 3M on the tongue and heel, this is one dope rendition of the Air Jordan 5. Scheduled to hit retailers May 2nd, let us know what you think of the sneaker below!

Girls Jordans lineup continues to reveal itself

2015 will bring a few of Jordan Brand's classic Girls Jordans retro's back in a Charlotte Hornets theme and it's only fitting as he just owns the team and all. We have showed you the Jordan 13 Lows and this pair of Air Jordan 5s but now we have an official release date and retail price for the Hornets. The Hornets Air Jordan 5 features a midnight navy upper on a soft looking leather and of course has the remastered treatment. Turquoise can be seen on the Jumpman logo, tongue liner and the flames on the midsole. White lands on the heel while the tongue also has the traditional 3M finish. Finally we move to the sole which dawns a blue translucent tint.
The 2015 Jordan Brand lineup continues to reveal itself, and it includes a number of 30th Anniversary Js in celebration of the Jumpman's milestone year. The newest addition to the '30th Anniversary' inspired Jordan 6 GS is this quilted Air Jordan 2 which features a premium construction featuring a leather lining and suede accents. The blueish-purple quilted leather smothers the entire Jordan 2 silhouette, including the laces, with gold aglets completing the premium look. Furthermore, news has surfaced that the kicks are actually a collaboration with Just Don, the label that was founded by Kanye West's longtime manager, Don C.
It’s one thing for a multi-shoe pack to release, but multiple retro Air Jordans releasing on the same day is much less common. That was the exact scenario on March 24, 2007, when not only two, but three different Retro 3s released: Fire Reds, women’s Harbor Blues, and the Flips. The most anticipated drop of the weekend was the Fire Reds, which were being retroed for the first time. Although many fans were disappointed in the quality of the Fire Reds, some gravitated to the higher quality materials of the Flips, which features a soft upper, and plush leather lining. The GS Jordans 2015 upgrade did come at a price. While the Fire Reds rang up at $125, the Flips hit for a $25 up charge. While sneakers weren’t extremely limited, they were harder to come across than the generally released Fire Reds.

New Jordans 2015 would be highly publicized

This New Jordans 2015 XX9 is dressed in a mixture of Water Project, Blue Force, White and Black color scheme. Featuring a full distinct liquid-blended multicolor graphic throughout the entire upper that kind of looks like a painting you’d see in a museum. The shoe is completed with Black laces and interior that includes a White Jumpman logo on the tongue and back heel, while an icy outsole finishes off the look.
The 'Hare' Air Jordan 1 Mid will be making a return to retailers after a six year hiatus, as Jordan Brand celebrates it's 30th anniversary. The kicks, which draw on inspiration for the similarly named Air Jordan 7, are rumored to launch on May 16th.White and silver combine on the leather and suede upper which is highlighted by a red inner lining and Bugs Bunny jumpman on the colorful tongue. We know that the 'Hare' Air Jordan 7 will be one of the more sought after sneakers this year, but this Jordans 2015 Mid is certainly nothing to scoff at.Celebrating the armed forces, the Toronto Raptors donned their camouflage sleeved alternate uniforms in tonight's game against the Sacramento Kings.Once again, guard Lou Williams took advantage of a special uniform night by breaking out the 'OVO' Air Jordan 10 Retro. He last rocked the friends and family exclusive on Drake Night last month.
Recently sold was this invitation to the Air Jordan 1 launch and accompanying black bow tie, which might be the first ever promotional Air Jordan item. Collector Vintagefrkr ended up with the item that promises an invitation-only event at Spiaggia in Chicago for "the premiere performance of the new Air Jordan basketball line with special guest, the electrifying Michael Jordan."The event happened on Oct. 7, presumably in 1984, which was just over a week before the NBA took note of Jordan's black/red sneakers that would eventually be banned. These days this sort of event would be highly publicized, and covered on sites like this, but there don't appear to be any archival images of the event. Jordan Brand, if you're listening, maybe it's time to bring this New Jordans for this year's 30th anniversary.

Most popular release New Jordans 2015

After re-working silhouettes like the Air Python and New Jordans 2015 , Rei Kawakubo’s Dover Street Market imprint may have taken on the Air Jordan 1.Freshly leaked photos indicate a first-time collaboration between the two parties. The iconic silhouette is seen reconstructed in navy patent leather with an all-over iridescent gloss. Tonal branding hits appear on the collar and quarter panels, while the tongue logo and midsole were done in white to break things up a bit. The partnership is marked with special DSM insoles. This collaboration hasn’t been confirmed and there’s no release date at the moment, but all signs point toward an eventual drop.
Last year's floral printed KD6 release was among the most popular so it shouldn't come as a shock that Nike and Kevin Durant are going that route again in 2015.Early images of the 'Floral' Nike KD7 EXT feature the familiar navy blue upper bolstered by a floral print strewn throughout the silhouette. A premium leather hazelnut inner lining matches up perfectly with the mid-foot strap while a creamy midsole sits beneath capping off the eye catching Jordans 2015.
As the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1 gets underway, the return of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High Strap has been among the early surprises to highlight this commemorative crop of Jordans. First releasing at the end of 2014, today we see the nostalgic high top dressed in a monochromatic Black/White colorway. The base comes in black leather and nylon construction married to white Swoosh and tongue branding alongside a striped top strap and midsole. The liner visually pays homage to the 30th anniversary with a corresponding graphic at the footbed. Look for the release of the New Jordans 1 Retro High Strap Black/White sometime in February

Treated to New Jordan 2015 Basketball Shoes

Jordan Brand began New Jordans 2015 with one big celebratory picture in mind the 30th Anniversary of the Air Jordan. This year, you’ll be treated to a euphoric barrage of Jordan Retro releases that recall the legendary originals and introduce some fresh concepts that aim to tell rich and premium stories, and you’ll find that the Dub Zero will fit right in with what the brand has to offer. If you’re not familiar with this upcoming sneaker release, Champs Sports is here to fill you on the roots of this striking design; if you’re noticing a plethora of familiar details, you’re already on the right track. In fact, the Dub Zero played an integral role in celebrating an equally astounding milestone in 2005 the 20th Anniversary of the Air Jordan. This hybrid design served as a tribute to the great Tinker Hatfield, with key features from eight different Jordans 2015 contributing to the overall concept. There were, of course, a string of other hybrid models to follow the Dub Zero, so it’s clear that this model had its own pioneering tendencies when it was first introduced.
No longer is it called “Love of the Game”, these GS Air Jordan 7s are dubbed “Valentines Day”, and the Fuchsia Flash lining that is featured on the silhouette makes it ideal for the holiday lovers. If you haven’t already picked something up for your lady, you definitely can’t go wrong with the Air Jordan 7 GS “Valentines Day”.The Dark Grey upper acts as nice background for the splashes of pink that touch on the inner lining, heel and stitching. White is also brought into the design to balance things out, as it touches down on the Jordan banding and outsole. The “Love of the Game” basketball logo along the heel completes the look. You can find this specific GS New Jordans Air Jordan 7 at select Jordan Brand accounts on February 7th for 140 USD.

New Jordans 2015 As close to OG pairs as possible

In the case of colorways that aren't original, should Jordan Brand try to make the sneakers as close to OG New Jordans 2015 pairs as possible, or as close to the retro+ drops that they're based on? The brand landed somewhere in between with this pair, which is a faithful recreation that has some details to nitpick over. A comparison of the slight color differences is absent, as it's tough to tell whether the lighter colors on the original pair are due to aging. Sole Collector's latest Retrograde episode below also highlights the differences between the 2002 and 2015 'French Blue' 7s, but for some additional eye candy, see this photo set breaking things down.
The badges on the back of the two pairs differ slightly in size. This detail isn't entirely uniform across pairs, but there is a marked difference between the two. Above left is the 2002 pair, above right is the 2015 pair with the smaller badge. The ankle-area Jumpman logos are a close match in terms of detail. With that being said, the 2015's logo, left, is slightly smaller than the 2002 pair's on the right. The 2002 'French Blue' Jordan 7 is more committed to the tumbled leather look. The above shot shows the inside collar donning this look, but the 2015 pair switches the more standard smooth leather in that area. The biggest differences come in the tongue area. Above is the 2002 'French Blue' Jordan 7, which has a dark blue strip that connects the tongue to a tumbled leather bootie piece that runs below the laces. The Jordans 2015 features a white strip instead, along with a Huarache style neoprene bootie. This could be a throwback to the original 1992 build of the Jordan 7 though–the 2002 'French Blue' pair was the only one to use the leather bootie. The mountain pieces on the midsoles differ between the two pairs. The 2002 'French Blue' Jordan 7s, above right, have a matte finish on these pieces. The 2015 'French Blue' Jordan 7, above left, has a shinier finish on its midsole pieces.

One of his recent builds is this dope sneaker storage inspired by the Nike and Jordan Brand box. The box size is 100cm x 70 x 46 high and from the video below seems to fit a good handful of your sneakers.Check out the New Jordans additional photos below and let us know what you guys think in the comments. The Just Don New Jordans 2015

A familiar colorway and design cloaks the New Jordans 2015 Air Jordan 7 silhouette in this, the latest custom piece created by Dank Customs. The 'Dave White' Air Jordan 1 unmistakably serves as the inspiration behind this eye-catching custom VII, which also utilizes a bit of hand painted elephant print to give the sneaker it's own identity. As Jordan Brand celebrates the 23rd anniversary of the Air Jordan 7 silhouette we're sure to see a ton of customs throughout the year, though we're setting the bar pretty high with this 'Dave White' edition.
It seems the Air Jordan 1 will have its healthy run continue into 2015, as we have already gotten word of several big Jordan 1's coming in 2015 and now we have another. The Jordans 2015 Air Jordan 1 will be returning in black and red but this time in a low top construction. The famed sneaker will release on February 14th, apparently at a retail price of $130. The Air Jordan 1 saw a low top release this year in a similar fashion with elephant print texture taking over the red color blocking patterns and creating a near hit for the Jordan brand. The return to simplicity should give these new life and a new home in most collectors' closets.
This release will fall along the lines of Jordan Brand releasing luxury silhouettes, but instead of a new model they decided to use an iconic Air Jordan and give it a high-end makeover, by reworking under connoisseur’s ‘Just Don’ imprint.Jordan Brand is teaming up with Just Don, a Chicago label that is known for designing highly demanded strapback hats. The Just Don branding is found on the shoes leather tongue (with the other tongue reading ’23’) and the insoles. The sneaker is fully dressed in a monochromatic Bright Blue colorway with quilted uppers and suede panel overlay.Inspiration behind the New Jordans Just Don x Air Jordan 2 is from a women’s Chanel lambskin handbag, that retails for $5,000. The bag was also manufactured in Italy, just like this collaboration was – as well as the original Air Jordan 2.

Make perfect sense for New Jordans

College packs make perfect sense for sneaker brands, especially for a ubiquitous brand such as New Jordans 2015. At this point our only question is why they don't release more. All players in the NBA are mandated to play college basketball at some level in order to enter the draft, not to mention Michael Jordan began his legacy in North Carolina. We're only asking for more Retros with college appeal to them, and our prayers were finally answered. There has been speculation around this 'Georgetown' inspired Air Jordan 11 possibly releasing in the future, and has been confirmed for a 2015 release. This Air Jordan 11 incorporates the Georgetown blue around the patent leather on the silhouette with a suede cool grey upper. White laces match a white midsole similar to that of the Jordans 2015 'Cool Grey'. The translucent icy outsole almost makes it identical until we add this major detail that couldn't be overlooked. Although the low top feature may be a dent in your high hopes for this original colorway it should still be enjoyed by some sneakerheads and especially for Georgetown fans. Enjoy the blueprint for this Retro and other Jordan 11 colorways that would make great releases in the gallery above.
The Air Jordan 13 will be returning in a few low-top versions this Summer 2015, that will include the Air Jordan 13 Low “Hornets” colorway.Today, we have a rare look at an Air Jordan 13 “Hornets” Sample that never made it the cut to release. This sample features a White tumbled leather, with Purple accents including the luxurious interior we recently seen released on the “Pantone” 11s. The shoe is finished with Teal accents on the tongue, mid-foot tag and outsole. How many of you would like to see this Air Jordan 13 “Hornets” Sample release this Holiday 2015? Would you rather have these over the lows we’ll be getting?
Taking a trip down the comic memory lane, Dank Customs reimagines the New Jordans with a nostalgic “Batman” makeup. Pulling from the Dark Knight’s past, these joints feature a black base with touches of grey, purple, university blue, and white filling in the rest of the model’s palette. Complete with 60’s-inspired Batman insignias and comic-like insoles, you can get a better look at Dank’s latest body of work after the jump. Share your thoughts on these joints in the comments section below, and keep checking with Nice Kicks for more custom kicks.

Details, including the icy blue translucent counter and outsole, liken the shoe to the ’30th Anniversary’ retros that have surfaced in recent months, possibly tipping off the inspiration behind the pack.Expect the CP3.VIII and other Jordan All-Star shoes to hit select accounts on Saturday, February 7.

Earlier we reviewed the Air Jordan 7 low black/metallic silver and prior to that a new colorway of the Air Jordan 7 was revealed, both expected for 2015. In light of the upcoming year being the year of the Retro 7, it only makes sense to bring back an OG colorway.
Another Retro 7 set to release this year is none other than the 'Bordeaux.' From the lineup we've been seeing of Remaster Retros and the 'Hares' dropping starting May, the summer of 2015 will be scorching for Jordan Brand. Keep an eye out for these July of this year.We already knew that the new year was going to be epic for Jordan Brand, but yesterday's previews, which included an New Jordans XI Low "Bred" and "Georgetown," took things up a notch. And Jordan Brand still has plenty more retro sneakers to drop, like a low-profile take on the Air Jordan XIII.
Previewed here, again by Crepe City's Ron Raichura, is the Air Jordan XIII Low in two colorways—"Bred" and "Hornets." While Jordan Brand hasn't confirmed an official drop date just yet, rumors have the two sneakers releasing this summer.

Jordan 11 GS Legend Blue Grade school release

When he took over the Jordan 11 GS Legend Blue social media accounts, Michael Jordan showed off a huge range of "Hornets" Air Jordans. The good news is that those sneakers aren't strictly of the player exclusive persuasion. There's an Air Jordan 5 "Hornets" coming, and there's this Jordan 13 Low, which again wears a colorway that appears to be inspired by that team. This year is shaping up to be a big one for Low retros: the Air Jordan 1 Low in black/red form is coming up, as is the Jordan 11 Low, and some retro colorways of the Jordan 6 Low have been promised. If this Jordan 11 Mens Legend Blue does end up releasing, look for a summer arrival.
The Jordan Brand All-Star 2015 Collection will release on February 7th, 2015. The lineup for the Jordan Brand All-Star 2015 Collection includes the Air Jordan XX9, Jordan Melo M11, Jordan CP3.VIII, and the Jordan Super.Fly 3. Below is a preview look at all the confirmed release dates and each pair besides the XX9 will be available in kids sizing. Stay tuned to Sneaker Bar for more updates on the unveiling of both Nike Basketball and Jordan Brand All-Star 2015 Collection.
The Air Jordan 7 GS “Valentines Day” arrives a little earlier than expected, as the grade school release will hit retailers on February 7th, 2015. Jordan Brand has made an effort to revamp their Girls line in 2015 by not only expanding sizes but also launching an entirely new collection with exclusive colorways. The romantic holiday gets a rather subdued treatment when compared to the metallic varieties of past years as a Dark Grey finish receives contrast Fuchsia Flash stitching while that Jordan 6 Black Infrared basketball logo hits the heel.

you may consider Jordan 11 GS Legend Blue

You can do what you want with this info, but those Jordan 11 GS Legend Blue are currently available on eBay... and the bidding has already gotten out of control. Like $100,000 out of control. You'd have to be patently insane to believe anyone is actually willing to foot the bill for the fruity pair of 5s, but there is a chance someone would be dumb enough to do it.The rapper recently took to instagram to tease a photo of the Air Jordan 5 which feature his insignia stamped on the heel, though Jordan Brand has denied any official collaboration.
This Jordan 11 Mens Legend Blue features the iconic Bred-theme having a full Black mesh and leather upper with patent leather overlay on the mudguard sitting top a White midsole and semi-translucent dressed in Red. The shoe is also highlighted with the iconic carbon fiber.Check out the first set of photos below and look for the Air Jordan Retro 11 Low “Bred” to release on Saturday, May 23rd, 2015 at select Jordan Brand retailers. Retail price tag is set at $170 USD.I think it’s safe to say that we won’t be seeing a “Bred” or “Space Jam” Air Jordan 11 this holiday season as both pairs are set to release as a low-top version.
The first remastered Air Jordan release of 2015 just released this past weekend to the delight of many sneakerheads. Later this month Jordan Brand will be giving us another retro, but how about we look ahead to a March release that is sure to be a hit.Scheduled to release in late March is the Jordan 6 Black Infrared or as many of you may consider it the Air Jordan 10 “Chicago.” Draped in a white tumbled leather throughout the upper, black leather takes care of the ankle collar, tongue and lace eyestay. Varsity Red accents on the inner lining, outsole and “45″ by the ankle make this a must-have. Previously a PE for Michael himself, now we’ll all be able to get our hands on this sneaker. Are you going after this Air Jordan release.

While snow and cold weather are dominating much of the East coast, Favia manages to heat things up with this artistic reinterpretation. After a long wait that felt like an eternity, the magical day is only a few hours away. The Jordans 2015 legend blue will finally be releasing tomorrow, January 10th. This Air Jordan retro will be the first remastered Jordan Brand sneaker that will release in what will be a HUGE 2015.Draped in a premium white tumbled leather on the upper, Midnight Navy accents on the outsole, inner lining, lace waffles and midsole provide the perfect compliment to that beautiful white upper. Round laces and Legend Blue hits on both Jumpman logos, the heel and the tongue serve as the finishing touch for this highly anticipated sneaker. Retailing for a new price of $190, will this remastered and revived Air Jordan 4 be your first Jordan retro addition of 2015?
There have been plenty of Air Jordans to release only in men’s sizes, so there’s not a lot of room for guys to complain. Yet there have still been a handful of women’s exclusive releases that guys wish they could get their hands on.Some lucky guys are able to just buy a size and a half bigger than their standard size, and fit right in. Women’s New Jordans sizing went all the way up to 14 back in 2001, meaning that as long as you weren’t bigger than a men's 11.5, you were good to go. It all changed after 2001. Sizing went down, with the largest released size going up to 13, and in some colorways—11.

Air Jordan 4 being an important model for 2015

Looks like there was an New Jordans 2015 11 “Green Snakeskin” Sample produced to go along with the Air Jordan 11 Retro Low “Green Snakeskin” release. But it appears that maybe Jordan Brand wasn’t sure what to go with so they decided to give us the Lows instead and keep the Mids in the vault.
Much like the Lows, this Jordans 2015 features a Black leather and mesh upper with patent leather panels that get a Green Snakeskin treatment accented with pops of Volt sitting atop an icy translucent outsole. There is no word on these releasing at anytime, nor is there word on the authenticity of this pair, but if Jordan Brand were to give us these instead of the Lows would you be satisfied? Leave your comments below.
All signs point the Air Jordan 4 being an important model for 2015, both in terms of adult pairs and GS ones.Adding to the latter category is this new pair, which features a shiny look the likes of which Jordan Brand could only get away with on a smaller pair like this. Then again, they do have plans for a lasered, reflective, icy soled Jordan 4 this year, so maybe a future of pearlescent retros like this on the regular isn't too far off (this Jordan 4 "Prism" sample comes to mind). Remember that Jordan Brand is expanding the sizing for girls New Jordans releases in 2015, which means that more will be able to fit into this upcoming pair.

Jordan 11 GS Legend Blue caught my attention

A teal colorway of the Jordan 11 GS Legend Blue , dubbed the '30th Anniversary,' will be joining the 'Oreo' and 'Columbia' in 2015, in what is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated sneaker years in the history of sneakers. The kicks feature a smooth leather upper, as opposed to the tumbled build of the aforementioned models. The '30th Anny' 4s, which pay tribute to 30 years of Js, feature green glow accents to go along with a contrasting white midsole and black mudguard. The release date is still a long time away, but we've learned that the teal '30th Anniversary' 4s will officially be launching just before St. Patrick's Day on March 14th.
While scrolling through Instagram many weeks ago, a photo of the popular fragment design Jordan 11 Mens Legend Blue caught my attention. As I routinely do, I jumped straight to the comments to see what people were saying about Hiroshi Fujiwara’s rendition of the retro basketball sneaker. After sifting through all the emojis, I came across one that nearly sucked the life out of me: “Only Nike Lab release. Extra hard to get. Good luck kids. Someone will lose their life for this unfortunately.” It's ludicrous that there is this stigma of expected violence around Air Jordan sneakers. It's time for Michael Jordan to say something.Over the course of Jordan’s professional career, there was no doubt that he was the greatest basketball player ever. But over the duration of his time as a professional athlete, one of the biggest knocks Jordan faced was his unwillingness to take a stand on important political and social issues such as the 1992 Los Angeles riots and the growing impoverishment of Chicago’s inner cities. Though it wasn’t necessarily in Jordan’s job description for him to be a social warrior, many could not comprehend why he continued to avoid controversy when it came to issues that were directly affecting his community and the ones his brand appealed to.In today’s NBA, we see megastars like Derrick Rose and LeBron James use their stage to support the “Black Lives Matter” movement by wearing “I CAN’T BREATHE” T-shirts in solidarity of the protests against the non-indictment of officers involved in the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown. We also saw Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony publicly express their sympathy and support for Trayvon Martin’s family after his death. These athletes expressing their opinion about the current state of affairs influenced people across the country, and also encouraged other entertainers and celebrities to speak up.
Those numbers are staggering. But the acts of violence that come with obtaining a pair of Air Jordans are not new. The sneaker-related murder of teenager Michael Eugene Thomas on May 15, 1989 garnered national media coverage in an issue of Sports Illustrated. The May 14, 1990 issue featured the Jordan 6 Black Infrared and a gunman on the cover, with the stark line "YOUR SNEAKERS OR YOUR LIFE." That same year, 16-year-old Johnny Bates was killed in Houston after deciding not to give up his Air Jordans at a local bus stop. Most recently, with the release of the “Legend Blue” Air Jordan XI, multiple news stories broke that included everything from a Toledo, Ohio crowd getting pepper sprayed to an altercation in Cincinnati that ended with a young man losing his life in a failed robbery attempt. That Sports Illustrated cover was 24 years ago, but the same things are still happening.

Get another look at the remastered New Jordans 2015

As obvious as it was, it appears that RiFF RAFF was just looking for attention New Jordans 2015 when he trolled the internet about an upcoming Jordan Brand collaboration. Finally the rumors are put to bed as Jordan Brand finally releases a statement denying any-kind of collaboration with RiFF RAFF, “At this time there are currently no plans for this shoe or a collaboration with this individual.”
Last seen in 2012, the Air Jordan 10 “Chicago” is all set to make yet another return in just a couple of months. Flush with its synonymous Bulls-inspired white, black, and varsity red palette in tact, the only noticeable changes come in the form of the number 45 embroidered about the heel along with a solid red inner lining replacing the silhouette’s infamous checkered interior. Worn by MJ the night he dropped 55 points (aka double nickel) against the NY Jordans 2015 during his return to the NBA in 1995, fans of this drop can expect to see this Remastered Retro release on March 28th.
The Air Jordan 7 Retro “French Blue” releases on January 24, 2015. Are you ready for the onslaught (and subsequent hit your wallet will take) of the Remastered Jordans? It all begins with the “Columbia” Air Jordan 4 Retro this Saturday, and after that it’s the anticipated return of these “French Blue” Air Jordan 7’s. But do they have you convinced to shell out the $190? Get another look at the remastered “French Blue” New Jordans Retro here, and remember to set that 1/24 release date to memory if you’re trying to cop a pair.

Jordan 11 Legend Blue MJs favorite model

Jordan Brand VP of Footwear David Schechter announced the decision that the Jordan 11 GS Legend Blue is going back in the vault. He also stated that the Air Jordan 3 “Sport Blue” was the last colorway to drop, which debuted on August 16th, 2014.This news was announced at the end of August 2014 around the same time we got word of Jordan Brand launching their “Remastered” versions of several different Air Jordan Retro models – all in light of Michael Jordan’s disappointment in the production quality of his brand.Could you imagine how nice it would have been to see a “Remastered” Air Jordan 3 in 2015? How many of you will be missing the Jordan 11 Mens Legend Blue in 2015? Wouldn’t it have been nice to put the Air Jordan 1 in the vault instead of the Retro 3? But we all know that wouldn’t happen due to the silhouette being MJ’s favorite model.
Last week we gave you a look at the incredibly rare Air Jordan 11 “Golden Eyelet” Sample from the Defining Moments Pack of 2006. Let’s take it a step further into the depths of rarified sneakers with this autographed pair of these unreleased AJ11s; this deadstock pair of Jordans here not only has the gold lettering on the lace eyelets, but also the signature of Michael Jordan himself.
Not long ago, we saw Jordan Brand's 'White Ice' Collection unveiled in Barcelona as part of Nike's display for the FIBA World Cup. Although many of those kicks will never hit retail, there is hope that some similarly styled pairs could drop in the future. According the Baltimore Sneaker Show, you can add this 'White/Metallic Silver' Jordan 6 Black Infrared to list of kicks to be remastered by Jordan Brand in 2015. The bleached out 5 was originally released 14 years ago, and 2015 would mark the 15th anniversary.
